Translated and interpreted for the BBC, Amnesty International in the UK Parliament, the Guardian Newspaper, Guardian Films, British Film Institute, the UK Court Service, the Metropolitan Police, Instituto Cervantes (Spanish Embassy) and the Serpentine Gallery, as well as for several UK production companies including Economist Films. Assisted Stephen Smith with the writing of “The Land of Miracles”, Little Brown, and Carlos Acosta, the Royal Opera House principal dancer, with his autobiography “No Way Home”, HarperCollins. Translated two books from Brazilian Portuguese into English for Penguin.

Extensive experience as a conference interpreter including interpreting for the following individuals and organisations: Mikhail Gorbachev, the Council of Europe, the International Cocoa Organization and the World Meteorological Organization (International Panel on Climate Change). Interests include green issues, ethical and social justice organisations. Experience in these fields includes conference interpreting at meetings of indigenous peoples, for the Greenland Home Rule Government, Amnesty International, the Rabat Conference on Disappeared Families, the European Green Party Congress and various World and European Social Forums. Trisha trained as a television journalist on a RCA / BBC course and has produced news items for British broadcasters as well as having articles published in the Daily Mail, Flash Art, etc. She is a producer, script editor and script reader, and she has worked with international scriptwriters in London for over 20 years including Linda Hartley, Wendy Oberman, Malcolm Mutton and Vali Florescu. She specialises in book & film translation and is a mentor to scriptwriters. She has revised and proofread work of foreign authors including Anne Henning. She is one of our top English editors, and she is in charge of all our English language content.
George Stanica

George worked as a radio producer with the BBC World Service from 1984 to 1993 and was a member of Pen Club International during the same years. While in Romania, he taught and translated English, American and German Literature, aesthetics and philosophy.
Apart from his programmes with the BBC and freelance work for Radio France Internationale, George has published articles in the Guardian and Index on Censorship, and his novel “Hippies and Vampires” was published in London last year.
